So Karen and I have given away most of our work because we had no place to keep it. It’s gone to family, friends, workmates and acquaintances. This one I posted about in 2013 (see below). My older son liked it so he took it. But before he did he rotated it counterclockwise and made it into an abstract landscape (if that makes sense). Certainly is more interesting. If you own any of my paintings feel free to turn them any way you want!
I wanted to get rid of the desktop based web package I had used to create my chrisbeachampaints.com art website and move it to WordPress. There were many reasons but the biggest was that WordPress is always up-to-date with recent improvements in web browsers. It also supports tablets and smartphones and is much more flexible with its huge user-base.
I hope you like it and please leave me comments and suggestions.
When I was still in Raleigh at the NC Arts Council my focus was on arts-driven economic development, strategies to use arts, culture, creativity as drivers of community and economic development. It was very rewarding. The people I met, the communities I worked with and the artists were inspiring to work with.
